A great time was had by all at last Thursday’s monthly Austin Explorers Social.
Attended by West Hansen, Lizet Alaniz, Ben Edelstein, Matt Lutz, Steve Tittle, Kiran Dix, and Jimmy Harvey. Enjoyed a lecture on exotic hallucinatory rituals from ayahuasca to frog licking, discussed Josh Slocum’s legendary expedition when he sailed his tiny boat, The Spray, around the world in the late 1890’s to be the first person to solo circumnavigate the planet, discussed the flat versus the spherical theories of the shape of this planet, enjoyed adult beverages, discussed Ben Edelstein’s upcoming trip to Tahiti to purchase a new ocean-going catamaran sailboat, discussed West, Jimmy and Steve’s upcoming Northwest Passage expedition.
