Join The Explorers Club for an evening of food and fascinating discussion with the team studying an ambitious new mission to explore further than humanity has yet gone. The Interstellar Probe concept study team is holding their annual workshop, laying plans for a mission that would escape our Solar System many times faster than any spacecraft ever built.
The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland, leads an international team of scientists and engineers studying a mission to the unexplored space outside of our solar system.
This study team is meeting at The Explorers Club for the second year to discuss how to achieve their science goals during operations in the interstellar medium, and you are invited to join them for a seated dinner on Thursday October 17th. The evening includes a panel discussion with members from the team, ranging from graduate students to astronomers and rocket scientists.
